The Author
Gregory Alan Burhoe is an author, poet, and visual artist. He writes of bizarre fantasy adventures about overambitious beetle overlords and oblivious guardian angels. He finds inspiration between the brush of wind through forest and the beat of waves crashing against the rocks of the coast. Burhoe currently lives in Moncton, News Brunswick, and has self-published seven books—including the hilarious Jimmy’s Fat Flamingo and the dark and startling Vendetta Ride: The True Story of Wyatt Earp.
About His Father
His father, Brian Alan Burhoe, is also a writer. His first published work was a science fiction short story, Ornithanthropus, published in IF Magazine in December, 1971. It was reprinted in a couple World’s Best Science Fiction Stories of the Year anthologies (the only story to be featured in both collections for that year.) He still gets letters from fans of this story to this day. He published a number of other stories, and articles in recent years. He is currently working on a novel called Civilized Bears ©.
