Back at It! :D

Finally! After just a couple days of publishing my first eBook I started feeling weakly, soon releasing I was ill. My condition just kept getting worse. I saw a few different doctors, one who believed that I'd had at least two or three different viruses, judging by how the symptoms changed. It seems that my system just got overwhelmed and worn down! I spent the last six months (half a year, unbelievably) trudging through my physical night job, sadly with no energy left to get anything artistic accomplished. I could do nothing but 'recover,' how I was able, while I watched my book sales drop and there was nothing I could do to reinvigorate the online presence I was just beginning to build!

Well, I'm feeling a lot better now and I've already got eight chapters in my next book finished! It's not what I'd initially planned however. A number of things have changed in my life recently, one being an email from an old friend of mine who wanted to purchase an intellectual property; a fantasy world I'd created years ago on a forum site, where different fantasy writers could write a story together, creating our own characters to weave tales in a fantasy world I'd created; its landscape, territories, races and beliefs. This will soon be turned into a board and/or card game and I'm very excited to see how it goes! I'll be sure to let you know more as soon as it's developed :)

It inspired me to return to writing fantasy, which I'd always loved doing and had received high praise for. I'm currently writing a story which involves Elves. But you know artists; I'm keeping a tight seal on the project until it's complete! I will say that it involves a descriptive, escapist fantasy world, the very sort of story that pulls me in and reminds me why I love writing! True, escapist fantasy which touches the soul and wakes you up inside; this is where I started from as a storyteller and now return to.

I plan to revisit Sector Storm in the future, but for now a magical world of fun and mysticism awaits me...
