I've just finished the creative stage of my second Sector Storm novel! I feel it's a strong second book for the series and it makes me eager to get to the third one! Not only is it more exciting than the first book, but it also has more humour to it. That's not to say it isn't dark and edgy; just less bogged down in technical and backstory detail. It kicks off with adventure and just builds and builds with tension as circumstances become increasingly more disastrous for the crew.

In the past I mentioned a free Sector Storm Companion, with glossaries and character illustrations, and this is something I'm still interested in doing. I already have the tech, term, race and character glossaries, which I've frequently turned to while writing these books. It's just a matter of drawing the images the way I want them presented, and finding a good scanner.

I've returned to writing the second Sector Storm novel! I scrapped the chapters I had before and started over again,  as I wasn't satisfied with what I'd written. Now I have sixteen chapters finished already and I'm really enjoying writing this! It's more of an adventure story than the first one. It's less dense; with less exposition and more excitement! There are a bunch of new characters and I think they introduce new and interesting elements to the 'world' I've created. I'm really not sure how this one's going to end, but I'm looking forward to finding out!
